Charles E. Bennett Elementary celebrated the founding of our country during Celebrate Freedom week. Several members of our faculty are military veterans. Five of these veterans were interviewed and those interviews were shown on the WCEB news. All students learned about the establishment of our country. They learned about the Declaration of Independence and the meaning of The Pledge of Allegiance. Students in grades 3-6 completed a poster entitled, "What America Means to Me." The poster will be placed on the Media Center wall.
This year's book fair was a huge success. We hope you had a chance to browse through our selections and purchase the books you wanted. Thank you for supporting CEB and our Media Center.
